"New tenants see this as a
definite bonus, breaking
the tedium and perceived
anxiety of an
elevator ride."

About iCaptive

Can you remember the last time you were in a lift of a high-rise building?
Did you fix your eyes on the small panel displaying floor numbers as the lift was moving or did you look straight into a stranger’s eyes or did you break the ice and the social void of a lift ride – and started a conversation with a stranger?
Regardless of where you are or where you come from in this planet – we all agree that lift rides are awkward.

iCaptive is a digital signage company providing a news and entertainment channel within high rise corporate offices. This is done through 15 inch LCD screens fitted above eye level in the elevator space of these buildings. It narrowcasts high-quality visuals in 15 minute cycles looping throughout the day offering content in the form of news headlines and entertainment. In addition to the visuals there are news headlines and sports headlines, currently supplied via RSS feed from News24.co.za, that scroll at the bottom of the screen.
